Former Nacada boss John Mututho is facing an arrest after he allegedly converted his rehabilitation center into a heaven of forceful abductions and confinement but at a ‘fee’
According to our investigations, Mututho Rehabilitation Center (JOMEC) in Nakuru was recently paid some fees to help abduct and detain two Somali Sisters Hafsa and Sumaya contrary to the law.
Details reaching our desks revealed that the middle-aged sisters were abducted and forced into confinement at John Mututho’s linked Rehab Centre in Nakuru and are still at the facility.
Efforts to reach Mututho for a comment on the matter were not successful as our phone calls went unanswered.
The matter has been reported at a Local police station and multiple human rights activists and advocates want Mututho arrested and prosecuted.
According to our investigations, the two sisters, one a computer Scientist and her young Sister a medical Doctor are facing a battle of royalty as their family orchestrates yet another of their draconian cultural and religious enslavement of the girls who are independent-minded with their careers and lives going on
Reports indicate that, just a fortnight ago, they were lured by close family members under some pretext and to their horror and surprise found themselves at the so-called JOMEC, a Nakuru-based drug and rehab center run by John Mututho, a former parliamentarian and anti-drugs crusader.
The adult girls of sound mind found themselves in forced confinement and violation of their rights and reached out to friends to fight for them to be released from the said center.
According to further reports, two of their friends last week visited JOMEC and delivered a demand letter from an attorney calling for their immediate release. They were met with a rude and arrogant reception.
” We were instructed to drop the demand letter over the said abductions and forceful detentions of the said sisters but we were met with arrogant and rude reception, it so unfortunate,” a source told our investigative team.

Sources intimate that the staff at the Mututho linked facility refused to acknowledge the demand letter and insisted on releasing it.
The reports reaching our desk say that they then proceeded to a local police station to file and record a statement and were met with a recalcitrant police officer who gave them a hard time. Only through their dogger insistence were they allowed to file a report in the O.B.
They then contacted some local journalists who contacted Mr.John Mututho who agreed that the girls were in a forceful detention and some cash had been paid for that.
” Our people met with Local Journalists whom they contacted to help highlight the matter and on calling Mututho, he confirmed that the two sisters were not under the influence of drugs as certified by their in-house medical officer but he will keep them at the facility as long as their family pays the requisite fee,” a source said.
According to our investigations, the two sisters have in previous years gone under similar forceful abductions and confinements in the so-called Somali Cultural Rehabilitation Centre at various times in Uganda, Nairobi, and Somalia.
Lawyers now want John Mututho arrested and the prosecutor in connection to this forceful adduction and confinement of innocent girls.
