Football supporters planning to watch Harambee Stars battle Zambia in Sunday’s African Nations Championship (CHAN) clash at Kasarani Stadium have been told to be in their seats at least five hours before kickoff.
The Local Organising Committee (LOC) issued the strict directive on Tuesday, August 12, stressing that only mobile e-tickets will grant entry; printed tickets will not be accepted.
The move comes after chaotic scenes on Sunday, August 10, when some fans forced their way into the stadium without valid tickets. To curb such incidents, the LOC insists that all tickets must be purchased solely through the official online platform.
LOC chair Nicholas Musonye urged fans to respect security guidelines and cooperate fully with event marshals, noting that early arrival will ensure smooth screening and prevent the disorder witnessed last weekend
